I engaged Walter for a move-in preparation project at my rental property at Playas Diamante Residencial, Laderas del Mar II, in Playas de Tijuana, Baja California, and his professionalism, integrity, organization, and commitment to excellence exceeded every expectation I had for the project.

From the outset, Walter demonstrated an exceptional level of transparency and sound business judgment. Before any work began, he prepared a detailed, itemized estimate that clearly identified the scope of work, anticipated expenses, and associated costs. This careful planning allowed me to understand exactly what was required, establish realistic expectations, and make informed decisions throughout the project. When circumstances called for a change to the original scope, Walter came to me directly, explained the situation and the available options, and proceeded only with my approval — handling the adjustment with the same transparency he brought to the rest of the project.

 

Walter maintained outstanding communication and documentation from beginning to end. He kept me consistently informed of all significant developments, promptly identified issues as they arose, and provided comprehensive photographs before, during, and after each phase of the work — covering everything from the yard and exterior to the kitchen, bathroom, and interior doors. Because I was managing the property from the United States, this combination of proactive communication and thorough visual documentation allowed me to monitor progress remotely, verify the quality of the work, and remain fully confident that the property was being handled responsibly at every stage.

 

Walter's project management skills were equally impressive. He coordinated contractors and vendors, monitored the quality of their work, and verified that each task was completed properly before the property was turned over to my tenants. He also went well above and beyond the project scope as he identified and resolved a number of additional issues including installing a water heater, adjusting and repairing the entry door, kitchen drawers, cabinet doors, and window and sliding glass door hardware, and clearing a clogged sink drain…as he saw they needed attention and wanted the property fully ready for my tenants.

 

What truly distinguishes Walter, however, is his character and his genuine commitment to his clients. I was managing this project during a difficult and emotionally challenging period in my life, and on more than one occasion Walter went beyond the ordinary expectations of his role — taking initiative without hesitation, identifying practical solutions, and continuing to move the project forward while minimizing additional stress for me. His willingness to assume responsibility and genuinely look out for my best interests provided an extraordinary level of reassurance and peace of mind at a time when I needed it most.

 

Despite the unexpected issues that arose during the project, Walter completed the work on schedule and within the agreed-upon budget. He remained focused, resourceful, and dependable throughout, and delivered my property fully prepared for my incoming tenants. Throughout our working relationship, Walter consistently demonstrated honesty, reliability, professionalism, compassion, and excellent business practices.  Walter has earned my trust.
